Doing strength training, bulking. Do you take a week off? I just stopted for 1 week and a half, only biking to work, but got the feeling that taking some rest really dis good to my body and mind!

Rami.AlHaddad You can approach rest/reload a couple of ways.

1. Programmed: every 4 to 6 weeks in your plan, do a week or so reload (one-third to one-half of the volume), or active rest, or complete off

2. By feel: whenever you feel like you're fatigued, or not performing as expected, or not progressing, or even regressing. One if the options in 1. If it is too frequent consider looking at your program to make sure you are not over doing it.

JeremyMcJunkin If I feel like I'm not recovering well enough I will do a few workouts where I use 60-70% of my normal working weight for the same amount of reps. It pays to listen to your body.

jorgebasilio Occasionally I do it yes. Specially if you're on waay heavy training, it feels when you come back to routine that time was actually in need to fully recover your muscles. I just make sure I come back to my workouts at 100% or adding more loads I was taking before
